Arcana and her twin sister Katana, were born with Magical Destiny. An evil faction named Circle of Thorns realized
this, and kidnapped the twins. They groomed Arcana to become the avatar for the next Queen of Thorns. Arcana was rescued from
her captures after years of captivity, and now uses her magic to fight evil in Paragon City.
Mournful Angel

A stern, no nonsense seraphim, robbed of his wings and banished from heaven for an unknown indescression.
The 'Mournful Angel' is tasked with redeeming one hundred thousand souls to gain the favor of God and thus be permitted
to re-enter Heaven.

While browsing through the back of an old bookstore, Angela came across a tattered old book, bound in aged leather,
with an odd star on the cover. A strange impusle made her buy the book, and she raced home to read it. As she read she discoverd
that the book was really a Tome, one of the few surviving books of an ancient circle of Magi, dedicated to the healing arts.
She studied the spells contained in the book, which began to give her healing powers. She has take up the long absent burden
